Meet Danger Cat!

Hi, I'm Danger Cat-though my friends call me Dang. I'm a 4-5-month-old kitten who loves staying close to my siblings, especially my brothers Salem and Tony. Wand toys are my favorite, but what I really need is a calm, loving environment to help me feel safe. I get overwhelmed by too many people and prefer having a quiet place to retreat when I need it.

I might hiss at first, but don't be fooled-I actually like being held once I feel comfortable. I'm just a little misunderstood and need someone patient to help me come out of my shell. Having one of my siblings with me would make me feel so much braver!

I'm good with other cats and have met a few dogs, though I'm still warming up to them. I'd do well with cat-savvy kids who understand that I need a bit of time to adjust. With some canned food, love, and patience, I'll be the sweetest friend you could ask for.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

We accept applications online and in person at events. Applications are accepted on a first-come basis.

2.
Meet the Pet

We require an in-person meeting with potential adopters and one of our adoption specialists. All members of the family should be present.

3.
Interview

Interviews can be conducted via email or in person and may happen before, after or during the in-person meeting with the pet.

4.
Home Check

Home checks may be completed at the discretion of the interviewing adoption specialist.

5.
Approve Application

A follow-up contact will be made by an adoption specialist 1-3 days post-adoption and again at 10-14 days.

We are an all volunteer staffed rescue. Typical response times are less than 12 hours; however, please allow up to 72 hours for a response.
