My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Take a sip of this sweet chi chi! Brought into the rescue life with a litter of nursing puppies, Brandy has definitely learned a thing or two about maturity. Not only did she have to survive on the streets…she also had to parent her six kiddos! That said, Brandy is only four years old. She has many years ahead of her to experience the finer things in life. Brandy is ready for a forever home complete with a soft bed, table scraps, a nice yard and plenty of people to give her attention. She is 100% a people dog, and thrives in the company of children and adults alike. Brandy may also be a good candidate for a home with other pets given a proper introduction! Her small size and friendly nature make her a welcome addition to just about any home. If you’d like to take our Brandy off the shelf, apply to meet her!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
