What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet sweet Maya! She's a 3 year old beautiful husky whose favorite activities are eating, sleeping, and long sniffy walks. For a husky, she has a super calm and even temperament (even at the vet!), and would love to cuddle with you on the couch for pets for hours! She also loves meeting new people, and gets along well with cats. Not a fan of other dogs due to being injured by one recently, but we are working on her reactivity and she is doing better every day!
I am looking to rehome her after having her for a month due to some health issues that will be difficult for me to keep up with in the coming years. Maya has inherited glaucoma, and it has already affected her right eye and caused permanent vision loss. Within a few years, it is very likely to end up affecting her other eye as well, but she will likely adapt very easily! I'm looking for a potential adopter who has experience with special needs dogs that would like to have a beautiful ray of sunshine as a part of their life!
