My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rescued after a car had hit him. He required hip and back leg surgery. He was adopted and stayed with a family for more than a year, but they had to move to another city and sadly, they couldn't take him with them. So he is now looking for his opportunity in the US.
It is important to not let him gain overweight due to his surgeries.
He is well behaved and completely house broken. Sleeps in his own bed, loves to cuddle. Very affectionate and social with people. Adapts easily and very intelligent to learn new routines.
Energy level medium. He gets very excited to meet new dogs and can be too energetic trying to play with them. Adequate introduction is advised.
Gets along with dogs and loves CATS.
Walks perfectly on leash.
Rides in car as a perfect passenger with seat belt on.
Ok in crate.
Shares resources. Waits for his turn to eat.

We have adoption events each Saturday at Wet Noses Dry Paws in Tacoma (411 Fawcett Ave Tacoma) from 2-4. Not all dogs listed will be attending but it is a great time to come and socialize with them in a play setting.

More about this rescue

501c3 non-profit l est 2019 l

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.

What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.

Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.

We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
