Here’s Granny!!
This independent, feisty and stubborn little girl is a sweetie at heart. She is in love with her foster dad and foster mom calls her his little shadow. She spends time with him in his office sleeping on her bed or asking for hugs and pets when on his lap. I’m sure she’s been on more than a few video calls! When he’s not home, she changes her loyalties to foster mom and wants to know where she is at all times.
She also loves food. She’ll clean your kitchen floor for you every day, no problem!! But you’ll want to keep this 9-year-old senior at around 7 or 8lbs for her health.
She enjoys short walks, preferably in fair weather, and can go at a good clip when she wants to. But she knows how to put on the brakes when she wants to slow down or check out a good sniffing spot. She’s happy to go in a stroller when she’s had enough of walking.
She tolerates her younger foster sister, but makes the strangest, funniest noises when bossing her around. She’ll make those same noises when she gets up or when she’s in the stroller and is answering some other neighborhood dog. She’s quiet otherwise. She also snores. A lot. Loudly.
Granny is okay with strangers. She’d do best without small children in the house.
Her bathroom habits are very good if you learn quickly what her schedule is.
She is taking a pain medication for possible arthritis and eye pain and needs drops in both eyes three times a day. She is probably blind in one eye and is a little hard of hearing.
Granny has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and will be ready for a new home around the beginning of November after dental surgery.
