Elvis Luca is deaf and would do best in a home without small children. Although we were told his was fearful around new dogs he has adapted very well in his foster home and is getting along with the dogs there. . Elvis Luca lived his life in an outside pen, so he has a lot to learn about how wonderful people can be. :) He has exhibited some separation anxiety so someone who works from home or is retired would be the best environment for Luca to thrive. He would also enjoy another pup to play with.

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.
