Sophie II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.
Hi! My name is Sophie II ! I am a beautiful 2 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to being found abandoned and because I am not getting along with the resident dog in my current home, it is best that I find my own forever home. I am described as friendly, active, smart, protective, playful, affectionate, nervous, and obedient! I have walked past dogs at the vet but have growled at the resident dog. It seems I am picky with my dog friends and an introduction would be best. I have not lived with kids or a cat so a proper introduction to them would be needed. I am aware of things around me and there was a time when someone appeared near me without me noticing and surprised me and I growled out of fear, but then I sniffed/licked them and everything was fine. I am house trained, leash trained, know basic commands, and want to please and be under the human's feet! At night I sleep on a dog bed in my own room. When the humans must be away and I am acclimated to my environment, I am trusted in my room and although I whine initially I settle in and sleep until the humans arrive. I thoroughly enjoy my walks and am always alert but as long as I'm with the humans I am happy! When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences. Some of my favorite things are being with the humans, riding in the car, toys, playing outside, play boxing, chasing the humans feet, rubs, cuddles, affection, and food! My foster mom says I am a "perfect girl" and the "biggest sweetheart". If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
