My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Nancy (nancy.hemphill@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Another amazing dog available for adoption! Buck is between one and two and weighs about 55 pounds. He is a neutered male and we think he is a lab mixed with some type of pointer. He is a beautiful chocolate brown with speckled white toes and webbed feet. Buck is house trained and trying to be crate trained. He does complain for a bit but then settles down. He walks well on a leash and is a great car traveler. Buck hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t like, and gets along fine with cats. He loves to run and play with other dogs and is a real people guy. He does have a lot of energy so can be annoying to lower energy dogs but when he finds a dog that wants to play……! Buck is a very slow eater so needs to be fed separately so that he can finish his food. He loves toys and balls. He would make a great family dog or adventure buddy. He does have a slight limp due to an old fracture that made one leg shorter than the other but he absolutely does not let that slow him down. To be considered for Buck please complete an online application on LSAR.rescuegroups.org

Go meet their pets

Life Savers Animal Rescue has no physical shelter. Animals are housed in foster homes, so in order to meet a dog, an online application must first be completed and processed and approved. Then a meet and greet will be arranged. This process may be delayed should there be many applicants for one dog, so your patience is appreciated.
