My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snickers is a typical puppy mill mom... shy and timid. At the same time, she loves people. She just needs a patient home. Snickers was at risk of being put down after her last litter and made her way from PA to NY where she is currently in foster with other dogs, of all sizes. She is demure and, rather, prefers to attach herself to a human. She is housebroken and doesn't mind her crate. As timid as she is, she is still a Border Collie and will need a home that understands her breed. She is a very smart dog and will need to have her mind engaged. She is learning to walk on a leash and is very food motivated. If you would like to consider Snickers, please fill out an application at www.bigdsbigdogrehab.com.

More about this rescue

We are a small rescue dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned, abused and homeless dogs (with an eye to larger breed dogs who are generally harder to place). We provide basic obedience training in an attempt to ensure our dogs stand a better chance of finding permanent forever homes. All dogs are socialized to other dogs and cats.
