Bruno is a sweet boy who is grateful for a second chance in rescue! Bruno is about 1 year old and 60 pounds. He has a beautiful wirey coat that will be very low maintenance, the cutest scruffy head and a gentle, reserved personality that will continue to grow and shine in his forever home.
Personality: Bruno is very reserved but beneath his nervous nature is a sweet, goofy boy who has started to blossom in rescue and can’t wait to continue to do this in his forever home. Bruno is submissive to other canine friends and follows them for cues. He is learning how to play, how to walk on leash and watches how they interact with humans- he is more confident with other dogs around! Bruno is very wary of humans and is not the kind of dog to jump onto your lap snuggle (yet!) but likes to lay near you slowly scooting closer and closer to get a pet.
Crate: Bruno loves his crate! It’s his safe place where he likes to chill and relax. Like a true gentleman he keeps his crate clean and tidy.
Leash: Bruno is doing well and loves to go on his daily walk. He waits next to the door when it’s time to go! He does well when it is quiet without a lot of traffic as he’s learning not to be so nervous.
Kids: Bruno lives with children currently and though very sweet when interacting with them their quick, sudden movements can spook him. He will do best in a quiet home with older or no children.
What Bruno needs: Bruno is a very special dog and is looking for a very special family! To set Bruno up to suceed he will require another dog (or two!) in his forever home to continue to show him the ropes of being a dog! Bruno will also require a physically fenced yard to keep him safe during his transition. Bruno will do best in a calm home that will patiently allow him to transition.
