Kaya was adopted from the OKC Animal Shelter as a foster. At the time, she was described as a timid, laid back dog, which we have a lot of experience with. As she settled in, we learned that Kaya is a lot higher energy than we expected and isn’t a good fit with our current pets.
She is a very sweet, obedient girl who loves to play! However, she doesn’t understand that smaller dogs and kitties can’t play as rough as her. Her ideal home would be with another dog her size and/or an active family she can join on adventures. She’s house training, crate trained and already knows sit, drop it, leave it and is learning stay. She might make a good agility dog! She’s never been around kids so I’m not sure how she’d do. She’s the perfect dog for someone, and we want to find her that home rather than taking her chances back at the shelter.
