My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovely Leona is a Great Pyrenees beauty beyond compare. This 2 1/2 year-old Great Pyrenees girl is a rare opportunity to adopt because she has no issues of abandonment or neglect or an unhealthy condition.  The family that has her currently is expecting a baby and now feel that having a big dog like Leona, will be more than they can handle once the baby comes. So sadly once again Critter Calvary is needing to step up and help find a home for a totally lovely dog who is being displaced due to an anticipated baby's arrival.

This 80 pound dream girl has been spayed, walks well on a leash, is house trained, loves car rides and is the ideal large dog companion. Her beautiful white coat just begs for you too run your fingers through her hair and hug her tightly with reassuring love that she's going to be okay in a new home. She is an excellent addition to any family as she gets along well with other dogs and even is not bothered with cats. Can you make our dream come true for Lovely Leona? Our dream is a new and wonderful family very soon. Please write to us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.  Hurry, The clock is ticking

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
