Hello there, I'm Jewel, the second most charming feline you'll ever meet, next to my best friend, Gem. My best friend Gem and I are quite the pair and we are never apart from each other. Now, how did I end up here, you ask? Well, it involves a tuna sandwich, a pair of roller skates (totally Gem's fault), and a very surprised mailman. Let's just say, it was a hilarious mix-up! Now, why should you adopt me? Apart from my delightful antics, I'm as sweet as honey, playful as a kitten, and cuddly as a teddy bear. Gem and I promise to give you a home filled with laughter and love.

When you adopt from the Humane Society of Pagosa Springs, you will get a healthy, loving companion that has received its preliminary inoculations, is spayed or neutered, has a tag and microchip for ID and is eligible for a free veterinarian checkup. The adoption fee is a great value. We endeavor to have all animals receive a rabies vaccination. In Colorado, rabies must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.

The Humane Society operates the Animal Shelter located at 465 Cloman Blvd in Pagosa Springs. Hours are Monday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
