Hi there! I'm Alfred, a charming and affectionate mini Australian Shepherd with an estimated birthday of April 2024. I might be a bit shy at first, but I'm gradually warming up to people and showing my sweet and sociable nature. I have a special fondness for children and enjoy their company the most. I'm also very friendly with dogs of all sizes, making me an ideal companion for families with other pets. In addition to my canine friends, I'm good with cats, demonstrating my gentle and adaptable disposition. I sleep peacefully through the night in my kennel, which gives me a sense of security and routine. Although I'm not yet fully potty trained, I'm diligently working on it and making steady progress. I'm also learning to walk on a leash, and each day I become more confident and enjoy my outdoor adventures. One of my favorite pastimes is playing with my brother. Our playful interactions are a joy to watch and highlight my lively spirit. I also love lounging in the sun, soaking up the warmth and enjoying moments of relaxation. I've developed a liking for car rides, making me an excellent travel buddy for road trips and outings. My adaptability and eagerness to learn new things are evident in my progress with leash training and other basic commands. In summary, I'm a wonderful mini Australian Shepherd with a heart full of potential. With a little more training and patience, I'll thrive in a loving forever home. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please go to www.ndlbrescue.org and submit an application for adoption. Please check out our website for any questions you may have before emailing us.
Adoption Application and Contract are required. If adopted dog is under 4 months old, a spay/neuter contract is required along with a spay/neuter deposit. Before the dog will be placed in the potential adopter's home, a home visit will be required. Adoption fees range from $125.00-$650.00 but are listed with every dog.

We are a 99% volunteer and foster run 501c3 non-profit rescue, operating in the state of Minnesota. We do not have a facility. All of our dogs are in private loving homes until they are adopted.
