Hi! My name is Remie! I was born in Alabama, and just recently moved to Minnesota. I love the people here and have made some new dog friends as well.
My Alabama foster said I was “chill”, and my Minnesota foster family agrees! I’m happy running and playing and am just as content stretched out on the couch or sitting next to you. I like living in a house, and even though my foster family uses annoying appliances like coffee grinders and hair dryers, they don’t frighten me.
I’m very good at walking on a leash. Sometimes I get startled when I hear dogs barking or see another dog coming towards me. I like to sit and assess any situation I’m not sure of before continuing on. That should get better as I get older, because I’ve gotten along with every dog I’ve ever met nose-to-nose (or nose-to-you know what). My foster family has an older dog that I know not to bother too much; their friends have a dog about my age and we love to chase each other and play tug-of-war.
I have adored every two-legged creature I’ve met! I will greet you with a tail wag and promptly give you a chance to rub my belly.
I sleep well at night, either in my crate or with you! I stay in my crate when I’m alone (although my foster family doesn't leave me very often), and sometimes go there to relax and play with my toys.
My very favorite thing is food! If you keep my treats (or your snacks) in a cupboard with a creaky door, I will never not hear you open it.
I don’t speak English yet, but I keep hearing words like “sweet”, “handsome”, “good boy”, “precious”, “cuddly” and “cute”. If those are good things, then I hope you will consider meeting me. I won’t disappoint - I can roll with the flow because I am “chill”.
I look forward to meeting you! -------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”
Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
