Hi, my name is Evie and I recently came up from Alabama where I was a surrender along with my litter mates. I was really scared when I arrived here but I feel much better now and credit my foster brother for helping me be more confident.
I didn’t have much experience living indoors but I am learning quickly. I just learned to use the stairs and now I love going up and down all the time. I love riding in the car and my foster dad takes me to work sometimes. I am doing very well with crate training and like to nap in there during the day. I am a real snuggle bug and sleep in my moms lap in the evening. I am potty trained on a schedule but still need practice on a leash.
I love all people, especially children, and I want every dog to be my play mate. The resident dog is much bigger than me but we have become good friends.
I am a happy, snuggly girl with lots of love to give. Could you be my forever family? -------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”
Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
