My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our sweetheart Shitake! At approximately seven months old this boy is as cute and as friendly as they come! He has the most adorable little meow to say hi and loves to play with toys and purr away all day. He’s a healthy and happy older kitten, who gets along well with all his foster cat friends . He absolutely needs a home where he will be have other young and playful cat friends , and lots of human love and attention.
We rescued Shitake after him and 19 other cats were put outside when their owner was evicted. The owner was devastated and did not know what to do. We came to the rescue and swept Shitake and many of his other family members safely into foster homes! We had him fully vetted . He is now neutered, tested negative for FIV and FELV , up to date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccines , microchipped, and treated for potential parasites and fleas.
To apply to adopt adorable Shitake (and maybe one of his buddies such as Elsa) email nycatcoal@yahoo.com or call Joan at  (718) 671-1695
