My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Emily!

Hi I’m Emily! I’m approximately 3 months old and 9 pounds. I am a female mixed breed puppy but my mama looks like an Australian Shepherd/ Cattle dog/ or Catahoula.

My foster mom says I am so beautiful with two eyes that are two different colors and a coat that’s gray, black and white. She calls me Patches.

I am the quietest one of the bunch at her house. I love to sit and observe. I love to be held. But I also love to play with the others dogs at my house!

I currently sleep in a crate with my foster sister and brother and sleep quietly all night. I do sometimes have accidents in the crate since I am still a puppy but I am slowly getting better with that.

I have not walked on a leash really yet since my foster mom has been protecting me from catching anything bad outside of the yard until I was old enough. However, I’m sure I will catch on quickly to anything you teach me.

I am a puppy with a lot of energy. I will require someone who will allow me to get my puppy energy out. Once I get energy out, I am a very good girl who loves to nap and would love a lap to cuddle in every night.

I have not met cats. I have been in a home with 5 other dogs of all ages and do well with all of them. I try to respect what they tell me, although sometimes I do annoy the oldest dog at my home. I have also been around kids and do well with them!

If you’re looking for a sweet, beautiful, loveable girl, then Emily may be the puppy for you!
