My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Little Bit! This adorable 5-month-old German Shepherd mix is full of life and energy, weighing in at 26 pounds with plenty of growing left to do. She made her way from Tennessee to Safe Haven in search of her perfect forever home.

Little Bit would thrive in an active household, where she can burn off her puppy energy and share her playful spirit. While she hasn’t had much experience with kids yet, she’s confident they’d be great playmates. She’s fantastic with her doggy foster siblings and has shown curiosity towards the barn cat she occasionally encounters.

Fun, silly, and friendly, Little Bit loves to chew on her toys and enjoys a well-deserved nap in her crate after a day of play. Though she might feel a bit anxious at first, she quickly settles down and is getting the hang of being alone. Potty training is going exceptionally well—no accidents so far! And she’s a superstar in the car, loving every moment as a "passenger princess."

Little Bit is working hard on her "sit" command and leash training and is proving to be a quick learner, eager to please. She’s currently in a home without a fenced yard, so she’s adaptable to a home with or without one. Little Bit’s sweet personality and joyful energy make her the perfect companion for any family.
