My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Tonto! Are you looking for a fun-loving, goofy, and playful horse to take in any direction? I'm your guy!

Tonto is a stunning, 17hh standardbred gelding. He has three suspension filled gaits, and we think he may have been started as a gaited horse after his racing days. Tonto LOVES attention - he loves being groomed, bathed, really anything that involves him being with people. He will pick up all four feet. He also responds well to cues and moves off pressure. Tonto has tested negative for active EPM and we are now testing his stability.

Our hope for Tonto is that he can succeed in any direction with continued training. He is extremely "in your pocket" and it's important that his future home continues to work with him on respecting space. Therefore, we recommend he goes to an experienced horse owner.

Tonto is located in Las Vegas, NV.
