My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little guy is Harvest and he's been doing great in foster care! We recently got a little note from his temporary mom: " Harvest has been having so much fun going on little adventures with me, and loves nothing more than returning home and immediately snuggling. Harvest's adjustment to a home was practically instantaneous, he was so thrilled to be in a place of love and compassion. His upper lip adorably gets stuck on his tooth sometimes and he looks so goofy when it happens. Harvest is a really wonderful dog who just needs some patience to reinforce trust that he won't be abandoned."

Harvest hates to be alone and is working on the separation anxiety he experiences from time to time, so his adopter should be aware that this may be something they need to work on. We know that Harvest will thrive once he feels like he has a permanent and loving home.

If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in Wantagh or in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.
