Looking for the just about perfect puppy? Joey may be the one! He is a 7 month old, 31 lb mix breed that came to Humane Tomorrow as part of the Hurricane Milton evacuees. He looks a lot like a Pointer/Boxer mix, but that's just our best guess. Joey is house and crate trained, has great leash manners, and is eager to please. He likes to play with the other dogs in his foster home, and he has gotten very comfortable with the cats. They even allow him to get on the bed with them. He has learned that toys are fun to play with, and he loves to chew on bones. The first step to meeting Joey is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
