Joey is a 5 month old, 24 lb Hound mix, but his breed mix is just a best guess. Joey is a Hurricane Milton survivor who made his way to Humane Tomorrow in search of his forever home. He is a sweet boy that likes to play and then take a good long nap. He is still learning to play with toys, so right now, his favorite thing to do is chew on bones. He is still a puppy and chewing is his passion, so he will need some sturdy chew toys! He gets along with the other dogs in his foster home, but he isn't a fan of cats. He loves to take on his larger foster brother and exhaust all of that puppy energy! He just started with his house training and is making good progress. Joey is on the skinny side, but he is gaining weight, now that he is getting plenty of yummy food. The first step to meeting Joey is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
