Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Haylie: The Spunky Survivor!
Introducing Haylie, an adorable 12-week-old shepherd cattle dog mix bursting with energy and personality! This little dynamo began her journey in a high-kill animal shelter in California, where she and her littermates were sadly exposed to a URI. Thanks to the dedicated in-house vet, they received the treatment they needed, but while her siblings found their forever homes, Haylie’s journey took a challenging turn.
After being moved to a different kennel, Haylie quickly became the target of rough play from a new group of puppies, resulting in a laceration on her head. Despite her playful spirit, she was soon listed for euthanasia after overstaying her welcome at the shelter. In a stroke of luck, our rescue group saw a plea for help and rushed to save her life. Just in the nick of time, we brought her home, where she has been thriving ever since!
Haylie's head wound is fully healed, and her fur is on the mend. She’s current on all her vaccinations, and our rescue organization will cover her spay surgery at the Simi Valley Spay Neuter Clinic when she turns six months old.
This sweet girl loves children and gets along famously with other dogs. Her friendly disposition makes her a joy to be around, and she adores frolicking in the yard and playing with her toys. As she will likely grow into a medium to large breed, we’d love for her to have access to a backyard or a nearby park or beach, where she can run and explore to her heart’s content.
If you're ready to welcome a bundle of joy into your life, Haylie is waiting for you! To inquire about adopting this spunky little survivor, please reach out to us at info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org, and we’ll be happy to send you an application. Give Haylie the loving forever home she deserves!
