BACKGROUND: Snuggles was found living under a trailer with her kittens; when they were lured out, it was clear they were all friendly, and their finder reached out to The Rescue House on the family’s behalf. Snuggles got to finish raising her babies in the love and safety of foster care.
PERSONALITY: Snuggles is a smart and outgoing kitty! She is quite social and enjoys sitting with you or lying on top of her people. (Snuggles lives up to her name.) She likes being held if you are giving her pets at the same time though prefers not to be carried around too much. As a younger kitty, she loves playing with toys, especially feather wands… she has some amazing jumping skills! She’ll need a home full of enrichment with people who will play with her keep her from getting bored… and in turn she’ll make sure you’re never bored.
COMPATIBILITY: Once her kittens got older, Snuggles got tired of them going mom! mom! mom! She’s happy to leave motherhood behind her, though in general she gets along with non-pestery cats. She’d also be content as an only kitty so long as she gets plenty of attention. She finds high-energy dogs irritating but was comfortable with the calmer canine in her foster home. Snuggles was good with the 4-year-old toddler in her foster home and overall adapted well to a family home that included a bearded dragon.
