Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ziggy is a 6 month old American Pit Bull puppy who had to be surrendered when their owner became sick, along with his sister Nala. Both are about 35 lbs and have been doing great at their new foster home, getting along great with the 2 house dogs.
Ziggy is a goofball who has plenty of nice play energy and would do great with a playmate to get some wiggles out throughout the day, but most of the time he just snuggles and naps on the couch next to or on top of you, he will want a cuddle partner! He's doing very well with crate training, and are working on walks (he is a little new to it), and has been potty trained as well. Both he and his sister do great in the car.
Ziggy would do best in a home with older children, even though he's on the smaller size he can burst with energy that may be too much for young children. Overall though he is a gentle, smaller pitbull mix. Has not been tested around cats.
He is a very sweet young dog that will make a great companion or addition to the home with his upbeat personality, he is very enjoyable to hang out with.
Ziggy is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
