Sadie is estimated to be around 4 years old and is a shepherd mix. Sadie is an old soul girl who enjoys being independent. She loves her outside time and treats! She occasionally likes to play with toys but would much rather relax. She enjoys sitting on the bench with volunteers!

Stray Animal Midway Shelter (SAMS) was incorporated in 2010 with our focus being spay neuter assistance. In Noovember of 2013 SAMS purchased property and now operates as a no-kill shelter in Peoria County. We work closely with local and surrounding county shelters and obtain healthy and adoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized for lack of space. SAMS receives no funding from government, state, county or municiple entities and are funded solelyby fundraising and donations. You can help by volunteering, adopting and donating to our cause.
