My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goose & Grebe were trapped outdoors and arrived in rescue covered in fleas, ticks and ear mites. Goose got her name because she would honk at us. (She rarely does this anymore since adjusting to being safe & getting spayed.) Goose & Grebe are spayed and fully vaccinated (RHDV2). Their est. DOB is 2/14/23 They spent some time in an individual foster home where they got along with both kids & cats and enjoyed having a free-roam area. Their foster home couldn’t adopt them due to a family member’s allergies but loved them so much that they fully sponsored their adoption! Now they just need a place to call home.

More about this rescue

USQKS is a foster-based small animal rescue. We offer rescue and/or sanctuary services for a variety of small animals. While our founders started their rescue journey working in guinea pig rescue, their small animal rescue journey began with… a mouse. A few years later, they started Underground Squeaks. We continue to provide services for variety of small animals but, currently, our main focus is helping rabbits and chinchillas in need of rescue and/or sanctuary care.
