My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Talk about a glow up story! Miller arrived in rescue at the end of February after being trapped outdoors with another young bunny. He arrived missing most of his hair. We originally thought it was due to mites but realized that it was due to stress and hair plucking (most likely by the other bunny). It appeared the two young, unaltered bunnies had been crammed into a tiny crate together before being “released” outdoors. The stress and hormones caused the two to fight and Miller to lose almost all his hair. You would never know now though. With proper nutrition, housing and love, he has fully recovered physically. He is very nervous around other bunnies though due to his traumatic start. He may be able to someday be bonded to the right bunny but for now he loving life as a solo bunny with lots of human love. He may also enjoy the company of another animal such as a cat or dog. He is a love bug who needs lots of love & attention! If loving on a sweet little survivor bunny sounds like a dream to you, then Miller may just be your guy! His est. DOB is 10/29/23. He is neutered and fully vaccinated (RHDV2). We can’t wait to see him continue his glow up in a home of his own!

More about this rescue

USQKS is a foster-based small animal rescue. We offer rescue and/or sanctuary services for a variety of small animals. While our founders started their rescue journey working in guinea pig rescue, their small animal rescue journey began with… a mouse. A few years later, they started Underground Squeaks. We continue to provide services for variety of small animals but, currently, our main focus is helping rabbits and chinchillas in need of rescue and/or sanctuary care.
