My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar is around 15 months old and about 42 pounds. Oscar is also blessed with one blue eye and one brown eye. Oscar gets along with both adults and well mannered kids but can also get shy at some points. He does not like cats, he would rather be with other dogs. Oscar is crate trained and is very quiet when he is in there. Oscar has good potty manners and goes to the door when needed to let you know. He is good with stairs and goes up and down them well. He is good on a leash. He is not overly barky but when he hears other dogs barking so will he. Oscar is a very gentle and friendly dog who will wag his tail when he sees you and gets so excited to see new people. He loves playing fetch and loves the attention that humans give him. He needs a yard and an adopter who will take him on doggy walks or jog or goes to dog parks because he is an athletic pup. He is tall and slender. He is up to date with all his vet visits. He loves to be by your side and loves his treats more than anything.

Submit Application

Please go to our webpage www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org and submit an online application.

2.
Approve Application

We will approve your application by calling your vet and your personal reference. Once you have been approved, it's time choose your pet!

3.
Pay Fee

Payment can be done by e-transfer to txcrcanada@gmail.com

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once your payment is confirmed, we will confirm your Transport Date with you, the day your new family member will arrive in Canada.

Additional adoption info

All existing pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Please complete an application at www.texaschihuahuarecuecanada.com Vet check, personal reference and home visit required.
