HART NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Hart Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix
Best guess for age: 1 year 10 months as of 10/18/2024 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 15 lbs.
Gets Along With: some but not all other dogs. She has not been observed with cats, but we could test.
Special Considerations: Hart must go to a home with an experienced adopter and no kids.
Currently Living At: DC area foster, Hart needs a forever home
What Hart is Looking For: Her forever family! At alost 2 years old, this adorable floof is pretty young and hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. She's eager to experience new places and people but a little scared and hesitant at the same time ! Long sniffy walks and all the adventures her new humans can dream up - yes, please! And definitely play time and lots of snuggles when she wants to - she's the perfect lap size! She has also added 'variety of toys, quality kibble, and cushy dog bed' to her wish list. Dog school would be great, too, so she can show how super smart she is.
But what she wants most of all is to know she's safe and loved and under her own roof for all her days. Hart needs an experienced dog mom who will continue working with her to help reduce her fears. In exchange, she promises loyal companionship and adoring gazes. What do you say? Can you see yourself chilling with Hart on your lap after a fun day together.
What My Foster Says About Me: Hart loves going on walks and playing in our fenced yard. She startles easily and would do best in a quiet home with a female owner.
