Meet Zorro! This handsome tux was trapped in a trailer park in Butler, where there was an abundance of cats roaming around. Although he can be a little nervous at first, Zorro overcomes this quickly and will soon be receptive to pets and lots of love. Once he is comfy, he is a chill boy who is easy to pick up and handle.

Zorro has grown up around many other cats, and so far has had easy introductions to new kitties here at TCR. He hasn't yet met a dog, but he may be able to adjust to a cat-savvy pup, with proper intros. We think that, with a slow transition period into his new home, he would also likely do fine with respectful kiddos of any age.

Zorro is estimated to be about a year old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Are you interested in this young, gentle cat? Please apply today!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.
Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.
Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.
Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.
