My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A FUN LITTLE DUDE:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 22 lbs.

Hello – I’m Kaiser!  I was rescued from animal control, and I am grateful for the love and care I am receiving here while I wait for my new family to find me.  Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked the female dogs, but did NOT like males, so if you have a female dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as a great little guy who is super sweet and affectionate.  I’m playful with a fun and friendly demeanor.  Just a wonderful little scruffy guy – I am ready to love and be loved. / My energy level is 4-6.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer!  Check back soon to see what I've learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've only had a few accidents on the shelter schedule so please keep me on a good schedule and I think I’ll do well in my new home once I’m used to our routine.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  An affectionate guy, I like to be held and enjoy giving you kisses in return.  When I meet people, I show my happiness with lots of tail wags!  I love toys and am enjoying running and playing in the play yard at the shelter.  I like my shelter walks but may be a bit of a trip hazard for someone with mobility issues.  I’m all about FUN – even having a dance party by letting my bather hold my paws and do some smooth dance moves during my shampoo – lol. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.

I am looking for a loving and fun family to make a lifetime memories with in a great home!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:

Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!

Adoption Info:
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.

Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.

Thank you for your patience and support!

You may also call our phone line, 770-272-6888 or email adopt@mostlymutts.org with specific questions about any of our adoptable animals. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Who We Are:

Mostly Mutts is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, staffed almost entirely by volunteers!

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse
