My name is Bruno!

Hi! I'm Bruno! I'm an approximately 1 year old, male, Pit/Plott Hound mix who weighs about 50lbs. I was found on 10/16/2024 off Stoney Hollow in Rockwall and brought to the shelter on 10/18/2024. Unfortunately, my owners never came for me. I enjoy the brighter side of life! I am fun loving and social and always have a smile on my face. I do well in my kennel and RAC staff is confident I'd be able to pick up house training if kept on a schedule. I walk well on a leash and love adventures! I would do well in a home with kids of all ages and I enjoy the company of both male and female dogs. I haven't been tested with anything smaller than me but if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters to date, and heartworm negative!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
