KAI MALE 1YR 25 POUNDS Kai is an owner surrender because he could not get along with the husband. He has not shown any adverse reactions to my male coworkers- actually he is Kai's favorite person. He is about 1yr old and about 25 pounds. Crate trained. House broken. Loves other dogs. Looking to place him were he can have a doggy companion. Has not been around kids other than at adoption events. Will NOT do good in a home with cats if there isnt another dog to play with. * he is insistent on wanting to play with the cats and wont back down when the cats hiss and if they run he will chase

BEING A HUSKY HE WILL NEED AN OWNER WITH DOG EXPERIENCE. We are guessing he will be 30 ish pound medium sized adult. He will need regular grooming

This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered or will go home with an already scheduled appointment. They have also been given flea prevention. Adoption fee is $275.00. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an application.

Additional adoption info

The first step in Adopting one of our animals is to fill out an application on our website. Once approved to adopt we will set up a meet and greet, so any current household animals, family (kids) can all meet with the new foster animal. Our fees are based upon the age of the animal and the medical involved. Dog fees range from $200.00 - $400.00
We also have kittens and their fee is $120.00

We do require all adopters to sign a contract and sign our medical documentation sheet.

More about this rescue

AJ's Search and Rescue Is an animal rescue which was founding in Sept 2016. The rescue is named after our founders first "Foster Failure". Angela aka AJ, fostered over 140 dogs through a previous organization, which lead her to adopting (foster failing) her 125 foster dog (Serchee).

As time went on AJ decided it was time to start yet another business and this time it was a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue. All animals that come through our organization are in foster homes, which allows a new adopter to know more about the animals in many aspects.

Any and all donations and adoption fees go towards proper medical care and feeding all our animals.

We strive to get animals off the streets and into new homes so they can live a wonderful life.
