Sprout is a very fearful dog, we dont know his backstory from before we adopted but we assume he was abused. He will be reactive and fearful on the first meet but as long as it is a slow introduction he will be fine and very sweet. It is best to allow him to come up to you first. He loves walks which helps him have less behavior issues. I think if he was properly (slowly) introduced to another dog he would become more confident, but I am not 100% sure how he is with other dogs as he is the only one. He is about 8 years old and perfectly healthy. He would benefit from someone less busy than us, I dont have the time to walk or be with him often. He would thrive if given the chance with the right owners. I am moving late november and cannot take him with me.
