My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Sabrina was brought in by previous owner on October 19, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Say hello to Sabrina, the stunning blue-eyed beauty who's ready to steal the show! With those captivating peepers, one look at her is enough to make anyone's heart skip a beat. Sabrina has a high prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals would be ideal. Also she should be your one and only, a home without other dogs is best. Although she might be a tad shy at first-especially in unfamiliar places-give her a little time, and you'll see her personality truly shine. Sabrina might need a refresher on potty training and basic doggy manners, but fear not! With some positive training and guidance, she'll be back on track in no time. Think of it as an opportunity to bond over some fun training sessions-who doesn't love a little teamwork? After all, a well-trained pup is a happy pup! This adventurous girl is not about the couch potato life; she's ready to hit the trails and explore the great outdoors with you! Whether it's a hike through the woods or a romp in the park, Sabrina is eager to embark on new adventures and create lasting memories. When you come to adopt Sabrina, don't forget to bring a martingale collar (available for purchase at our facility) and a sturdy leash.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
