🌱With Humans🐕
Hamduk is a bit shy at first, but with some tasty treats🧁, he’ll quickly become your best friend! Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys being carried and will even roll over for belly rubs.He’s friendly and will greet new doggy friends, although he prefers gentle interactions rather than rough play. With a moderate energy level, Hamduk loves outdoor walks and is calm indoors. While he may pull a bit during walks, he generally follows his handler well.

Hamduk does exhibit resource guarding behaviors towards other dogs and people. He will bark if he needs something and gives a “woof” when he sees strangers.

In new environments, he may mark his territory initially, but he settles down quickly once he feels at home.

Most of our dogs are currently in Korea. After we give approvals, we arrange the flight schedule for rescued dogs. Some of our rescued dogs are being fostered in GTA/States. Please check their locations on profiles.

Go meet their pets

If the dog is in a foster home in North Carolina, the potential adopter will go to the foster home to do meet and greet.
Most of our dogs are in South Korea and they will fly to North Carolina if they finds a foster home or adopter, and the adopter will meet the dog at the airport.

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
