Jax is a 2-year-old sweetheart who's gone from shy to showing his true colors as the ultimate "love bug!" Though he was nervous at first, he's blossomed into a cuddly companion who's always ready to snuggle up and be by your side.

This sweet guy is still working on his manners-he can be a bit jumpy and mouthy when he's excited, but he's eager to learn. Jax walks nicely on a leash, making it easy to enjoy outdoor adventures together while he continues to work on his training. If you're looking for a fun, loving friend, Jax is ready to be by your side!

Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C) encourages everyone to
come to one of our three full service Care Centers when looking
to adopt a pet. Beautiful dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and
rabbits are anxiously waiting for a home to call their own. All
AC&C adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip,
spay/neuter, one month of free pet health insurance, and a free
office visit at a participating veterinarian.

30,000 animals each year. A non-profit organization, AC&C is
under contract with the NYC Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene (DOHMH) to rescue, care for and find loving homes for
