Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Edward is a very handsome boy that found his way into Maricopa County Animal Control. He soon became at risk, but luckily FLPS came to the rescue! He was given lots of love and care and is now ready to return that love to his very own family.
Edward is an 11 year old, 50 lb. Plott hound/ lab mix with a soft brindle coat and distinguished gray muzzle. He is friendly with people and will make you smile with his sweet nature. Wherever you are, Edward will be near. He likes to watch you go about your day and is happy to lend a helping paw. It is easy to melt from Edward’s brown eyes. You’ll find yourself giving in to his pleas for treats!
Need a companion for running errands? Edward is your guy. He loves to go! Whether it is in the car or walks in the park, he’s always up for an adventure. Edward is pretty laid back at home though, so you don’t have to worry about constantly throwing a ball or having to entertain this guy. Cuddling on the couch or beside you in bed is more his speed. And he’s a great listener when you just need someone to comfort you. He sleeps quietly through the night and will share breakfast time with you in the morning.
Edward has been through a lot in the last few months and deserves to be showered with love. Although he has gotten along with some dogs, they tend to make him anxious. We recommend that he be your one and only pet.
The ideal family for Edward would be one that loves big dogs, is low stress, and has time to make him feel like one of the family. Could that be you? Fill out an application and let’s get started!
