How handsome is this guy?! Derby had been a stray on the run for over a month until a rescue volunteer was finally able to win him over. And what a love he is! He’s still a little weary around new people & situations but starting to let his guard down & show his personality… goofy, playful, stubborn and full of love. Loves other animals! It’ll take a lot of patience until Derby is comfortable in a new home, but we’re confident he’s able to do it’

Derby is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and currently receiving reaction for flea, tick and heartworm.

Effingham Animal Rescue Sanctuary (EARS) is a fully foster-based, donation-based, and volunteer-run 501(c)3 organization with three areas of focus: Foster & Adopt, Spay & Neuter, and Charitable/Critical Care Assistance. EARS was formed in 2010, and has been devoted to helping animals find loving homes, receive the medical care they need, and aid the community in pet care ever since.
