I acquired Bernard in Miami, FL where I was living at the time. He was at risk of being put in a kennel and I didn't want to let that happen. I am someone who has never had a dog, nor ever really wanted a dog of my own. So I took him in for as long as I could but as of now it has become too much for me. He is aggressive with other dogs and requires a lot of attention, but other than that he is a good dog. He is house trained and good with people and kids. He is shy at first but opens up to be a very quirky and loving dog. He is very happy and full of energy when he's having a good time. He also loves to lounge and get pets and belly rubs. Very rewarding dog to take care of, but just not something I can do myself anymore.
