My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Once we had a theme chosen for this litter's name, Athena named herself the wisest of her siblings! She is definitely the sharpest of her littermates - the first to learn the litter box, the first to wean, the first to find the next level to climb. She is a curious little girl with the cutest round face and puppy-dog eyes you've ever seen! She loves to curl up in your lap after a good meal and purr herself to sleep.

She and her two sisters and two brothers were found behind a barbershop with their mama at just 4 weeks old. They all get along wonderfully and need to be adopted with one of their siblings unless there is already another young cat in your home looking for a friend. (You can read more about why kitten pairs are so important here: https://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens)

Athena is about 16 weeks old as of mid October. She is spayed, dewormed, flea-free, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, and vaccinated to date. Email meoworneverrescue@gmail.com and/or complete an application at meowornever.org/adopt to learn more and schedule a meet-and-greet!

More about this rescue

Meow or Never is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Atlanta, GA (with a small off-shoot in Oceanside, CA) that works to help stray and feral cats and kittens through humane TNR (trap-neuter-return), or adoption into loving homes when returning or relocating is not possible.

We are an all-volunteer group committed to community outreach and education, promoting low-cost spay/neuter programs readily available for domestic and community cats.

Although our main focus is spay/neuter, we inevitably come across young kittens or strays in need of help. We nurse those back to health (or in the case of kittens, keep them healthy as they grow), and when they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, we then look for loving forever homes.
