Hi, I’m Frida! I may be a low rider basset mix, but don’t let my short legs fool you—I’m full of big energy and even bigger love! With my hound dog nose, I’m always ready to show off my sniffing skills, and I make sure everyone knows just how much fun I’m having. I can’t help it, I’m a vocal gal, and I’m proud of it!

I’m the happiest little pup you’ll ever meet, and I love EVERYONE—adults, kids, cats, other dogs—you name it! My excitement for life is so big that I can’t keep it in, so I do full body wiggles to let it out. Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, I’m all in! And even though I’m short, don’t be surprised if you catch me jumping higher than you’d expect!

I’ve got the house manners down too. I’m housebroken, crate trained, and I know my name and how to sit like a pro. So if you’re looking for a playful, affectionate pup who’s always ready to make new friends and keep you entertained, I’m your girl!

We bring animals that are awaiting euthanasia or struggling to find homes in shelters locally in Colorado as well as shelters out of state in New Mexico, Texas, and Kansas into our foster’s loving homes. All animals receive any necessary medical care, as well as a microchip before they find their fur-ever family!
