My name is Brida!

Hi, I’m Brida! I’m a 5-month-old pup with beautiful golden eyes and wiry fur, and I’m looking for my forever family. I’ve spent most of my life in a shelter, but now that I’m in a home, I’m learning how to be the best house dog and roommate I can be.

I’m still figuring out some boundaries and exploring my newfound freedom, but one thing I know for sure is that I’m a super loyal girl. Belly rubs and snuggles are my favorite things in the whole world! I can be a little unsure of strangers when they come into my safe space, so I’ll bark to let you know they’re around, just to keep us all safe.

When it comes to potty training, I’m doing great if there’s a doggy door. I’m still learning to let someone know when I need to go out, but I’m really good at using the doggy door on my own. I’m also getting the hang of crate training and sleep through the night without a problem!

I’m still deciding how I feel about little kids, especially the ones under 5. I tend to watch them from a distance and keep to myself. Cats are new to me, too—sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me, and I might chase them, but I’m just trying to play.

I’m learning so much, and I can’t wait to find a forever family to share all my love and loyalty with. Could that be you?
