Meet Osito, a 1-year-old bundle of love with so much potential just waiting to be unlocked! Though he can be a bit insecure at times and occasionally shows some resource guarding with food, his heart is as big as his name suggests—Osito loves nothing more than showering you with kisses and sweet licks. He’s a true lovebug who thrives on affection.

Osito has been around kids and is currently living with his dad and another dog, getting along well with both. While he may not have had much experience with walks or socialization yet, he’s ready to learn and grow with a patient family. This sweet boy is fully trainable and just needs someone to guide him into becoming the confident, well-rounded dog he’s meant to be.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
