Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sweet, handsome, playful, and resilient- that’s Kolbe! Kolbe is a deaf dog who has shown great potential to learn and thrive with predictable routines, compassion and understanding guidance. In his former home Kolbe was reported to be a playful, independent pup who loves toys, knows tricks and was crate trained.
Kolbe’s volunteer friends share that he takes treats nicely and accepts gentle physical touch. He also has a volunteer advocate here at the shelter who is a certified dog trainer specializing in deaf dogs. She has been teaching Kolbe hand signals for basic doggy commands including come, look, down, sit, and shake. He is also learning a pattern game, which he finds pretty fun and calming. Kolbe would benefit from a new family committed to continuing his training. Did you know that when you foster or adopt a dog from PACC, you are eligible to receive an individualized training plan from our TOP DOGS training team? This group of certified dog trainers will meet with you and your pooch, give you training materials and design an at-home plan to continue teaching your dog new skills.
Kolbe lived the majority of his life in one home and was unfortunately an outdoor-only dog. He will need a new family who will welcome him into their lives and their home and will teach him how to be a beloved indoor member of the pack. Kolbe shares his kennel with another PACC pup and would like to like to meet any potential furry roommates before heading home. No livestock please! Are you looking to learn some new dog training skills and give a deserving dog a new lease on life? Come meet Kolbe today!
