My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Athena is a delicate beauty, describded by our volunteer as "doe-like."  She is small in stature and a bit shy but warms up to friendly dogs and humans pretty quickly.  She would do well with a doggie buddy who can help her build her confidence. She is also OK with cats - just ignores them.  Athena loves walks, is beautiful when runs (perhaps a bit of miniature greyhound?) and would make a great companion for an active person, or someone who enjoys running.

We will update Athena as we learn more about her.

PAW places dogs in the DC/ VA/ MD/ PA area only.
