Meet Denver!

This sweet 5 year old male Golden Retriever is looking for his forever home. He is about 60lbs, great with other dogs and super friendly. He is sweet as pie!

Sadly, Denver wasn't well taken care of in his past life and he ended up heartworm positive. He has already been neutered and had all other vet care taken of, but begins heartworm treatment in November. It is prepaid and will be done in Tampa.

Denver is extremely smart and food motivated. He is currently in Tampa and is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
