Meet Bobbie, the purrfect addition to your home! Bobbie was rescued by VOKRA as a young mom and now that her kittens have been adopted, she's ready to soak up the love and care she deserves!
This sweet girl has a playful and rambunctious spirit, eagerly chasing wand toys and batting her favorite ball around. Though she may be a bit shy at first, once she gets to know you, you'll be the center of her world. Bobbie loves following her humans from room to room, supervising every activity, and curling up on your lap for cozy naps. She's a cuddle enthusiast who enjoys affection but also knows when to ask for space. She is chatty and loves to share her opinion.

Bobby's affectionate nature makes her an ideal companion for most family types, whether this is a large household, a couple, or a solo adopter looking for a furry friend. She should be the only pet in the home. Bobbie will be fine with older children who are experience with cats. If you're ready to welcome a loving, playful companion, Bobbie is waiting for you.

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
